Oregon Voter Registration: How to Register and What's Required
Steps to Register to Vote in Oregon
- Online Registration: Visit Oregon's Online Voter Registration and follow the instructions.
- Mail-In Registration: Download and complete the Oregon Voter Registration Application. Mail the completed form to your county elections office.
- In-Person Registration: Visit your county elections office or a voter registration drive and fill out a voter registration form.
Eligibility Requirements
- Be a U.S. citizen.
- Be at least 18 years old by Election Day.
- Reside in Oregon for at least 30 days before the election.
- Not have been convicted of a felony or other disqualifying crime (unless rights have been restored).
What You'll Need to Register
When registering to vote, you'll be asked to provide the following information:
- Name and address
- Date of birth
- Driver's license or ID number (optional)
- Last four digits of your Social Security number (optional)
Important Dates
- Voter Registration Deadline: 21 days before Election Day
- Election Day: First Tuesday after the first Monday in November
