Tom MacDonald and Ben Shapiro Team Up for "Facts"
Canadian rapper Tom MacDonald and American political commentator Ben Shapiro have collaborated on a new song titled "Facts."
The song, which was released on January 26, is a fiery rap track that takes aim at the left-wing media and "woke" culture.
In the song, MacDonald raps about how the left is "brainwashing" people with their "lies" and "propaganda." He also calls out the hypocrisy of the left-wing media, which he accuses of being quick to condemn conservatives for any perceived slight, while giving a pass to liberals who say or do the same things.
Shapiro, who is known for his conservative views, provides a spoken-word interlude in the song, in which he talks about the importance of free speech and the dangers of censorship.
The song has been met with mixed reactions, with some praising it for its outspokenness and others criticizing it for its divisive message. However, there is no doubt that the song has struck a nerve with many people, and it is sure to be a topic of conversation for weeks to come.
In an interview with WEB Shapiro, MacDonald said that he wrote the song after being inspired by Shapiro's commentary on the left-wing media.
"I was listening to Ben talk about how the left-wing media is brainwashing people, and I thought, 'That's exactly what I'm trying to say in my music,'" MacDonald said.
Shapiro said that he was impressed by MacDonald's talent and his willingness to speak his mind.
"Tom is a very talented rapper, and he's not afraid to say what he thinks," Shapiro said. "I think he's going to be a big star."
